Mission:

------- 25 --------

Laugh and Lose

Brief: The Inner Circle plays "Pass a Face." In this game, players stand in a circle and one person begins by making a face - funny, horrific, pained - anything. Next, the person to the right tries to imitate the face as accurately as possible. This second person then turns to the next person and passes the face along. This continues all the way around the circle. As soon as the first face is passed on another is released. Of course, anyone who laughs at any time throughout this sidesplitting game must step away from the circle. Play is frozen whenever a person laughs, but resumes as soon as the loser is removed. The last remaining player wins.

Examples:

1. "Make Me Laugh" - One person is selected to be the target while everyone else becomes comedians. Each comedian is allowed one minute to try to make the target laugh (no touching). Comedians can, and probably will, resort to anything to get the target to lose it. Targets receive one point for each comedian they can resist. Once a target laughs, a new one is chosen. This continues until everyone has had the chance to be the target once. At this time the person with the highest number of points wins. Ties are broken by first placing those who are tied close together. Then, simultaneously, the rest of the comedians attempt to make them laugh. Whoever can resist this onslaught the longest, wins. To make it harder, the group may decide to consider smiling to count as a laugh.

2. "Laugh Track" - One person stands within a circle made up of the rest of the group. The person in the middle holds up a napkin and lets it go. Everyone in the circle must begin laughing immediately, but must stop the second the napkin hits the floor. Anyone who fails to stop laughing, or laughs at any other time is out of the game. The last person remaining becomes the napkin master in the next game.

3. Belly Laugh - One person begins by lying down on the floor. Another person then lies down, head resting on the first person's stomach. The rest of the group follows suit, with each person's head lying on the stomach of the previous person. This forms a zigzag, or a big circle, with the first person's head resting on the last person's stomach. Next someone begins by laughing once, "ha" (or some other silly noise such as "sika"). The person whose head is on the next person's belly then laughs, "ha-ha." This continues around and around the circle, with everyone adding one more "ha." Whoever laughs for real is out of the game. This sounds easy enough....

4. "Baby, I love you. Won't you give me a smile?"-All players but one sit in a circle. The last player is It, and stands in the middle and chooses a target to try to make smile or laugh. First, It approaches the target and says, "Baby, I love you. Won't you give me a smile?" Afterward, It can do anything to get the target to laugh, except touching (though blowing in a target's ear is allowed). If the target can say "Baby, I love you, but I just can't smile" without smiling or laughing, It must chose another target. Any target who smiles or laughs becomes It for the next round.

Twist:

------- 25 --------
The role of Dealer is abandoned. Everyone is on equal footing and the group must figure out how to accomplish the Mission without any guidance from a Dealer.
